You, um, HAVE seen Almost Famous, and/or this picture, right?

the fact that you had to qualify this blog with references leads me to believe that not everyone drove around cranking freedog by stillwater pretending it was all true? no? really?...um...neither did i...kelly

Oh was I supposed to acknowledge the reference? Well then-"It's not too late for you to become a person of substance, Russell."

I just figured the dripping-with-sarcasm *indeed* was the person who didn't get that I was kidding and perhaps actually thought my head was as big as Robert Plant's in the 70s, which would make me a colossal ass!

In reality, my head IS that big. But literally, not figuratively.

So this is what a genius looks like?

I really am a golden god. Hey weren't you one of the little people in the background back before I became the superstar I am today? No, I must be thinking of Jay Hurley.

I think the *indeed* was possitive reenforcement as those that snark anonymously have little understading of what it is to be golden and/or godlike.

The postitive anonymous commenter is one that understands humor and the quality of good music and film, but they are just very, very shy.

no?

I have no idea about good music or film, nor did I know this photo was any reference to anything pop-cultural or related to any other photo.

I just think The Man is looking great in a great photo...and might like to hear so.....that is all!

*jeez Jon!*
*thanks Trix*

Well, my FIRST reaction to someone thinking I might ACTUALLY be good lookin' is to think they're MAKING FUN OF ME!!! Natural by-product of low-self-esteem. Sorry, anonymous #1!

Hee hee
No problemo anon #1 :-)

Jonny....is that why you scream out 'LIES!' every time I compliment you? Whew....sweet relief. I thought it was a metaphor for our relationship!

Reading On the Road With Bob Dylan by Larry "Ratso" Sloman, it's easy to see why musicians often think of journalists as complete assholes.

Almost Famous was pretty enjoyable, if I remember correctly.

Zahn is white as a sheet under that shirt fyi. His tanning bed bed bakes him whenever he sleeps, so that's 18 hours a day.
