...to Deebs for the Oscar nom.
I can say with great pride that I was the first person to predict it, precisely one second after I read the script. I knew. I just knew.
Good on ya, Deebs. You know you rock.

Only because you read it before I did!
I am also an "early adopter" of the rabid Juno cheerleading thing. It was barely even a bandwagon when I jumped on. It was, like, a skateboard.
And FOUR nominations! This is gonna be sweet.

I was on that skateboard too! A very wobbly skateboard with one wheel that needed tightening (that wheel eventually fell off and rolled away. The skateboard kept right on freaky freesyle *lol*).
Right on brotha! We *hear* the Deeb's!

What an adventure she embarked upon back in oh, let's say, 2003.
A brilliant fresh-faced college grad aspiring to be a Copywriter, to Oscar Nom, all in under 5 years. That is pretty much one-in-a million talent.
Congratu-fucking-lations is spot on, Jonny.
:-)))))))))))

We are all thrilled for the girl! It has been an amazing ride just watching it all come to fruition. She seemed so at ease on Letterman last night. Bravo!!!
I also wanna say a giant HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA to the people at the various ad agencies she worked at, especially the one in CHICAGO (you know who you are) for failing to recognize her talent. Because, you know, she's a GIRL.
Yup, being a girl is a strength and not a weakness!!! Lots of women are proving that these days. It's a great time to be a woman and getting better all the time.
Sadly, for the ladies, advertising is still a good ol' boys club. :(
